Information we may receive
- Basic hosting and security logs, such as IP address, request time, page requested, browser information, and error or abuse signals.
- Analytics information, if you consent to analytics, such as pages viewed, referral source, approximate region, device type, and site interaction events.
- Affiliate click information, such as the page, product, and link selected. PUA Labs and any affiliate provider may collect additional information after you leave this site under their own policies.
- Information you choose to send by email, including your email address, message, and any details or attachments you provide.
Why we use it and our UK lawful bases
- Consent: for optional analytics cookies or similar technologies. You can refuse or later withdraw analytics consent without losing access to the site.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the site secure, diagnose errors, understand non-cookie operational performance, prevent abuse, maintain accurate content, and respond to genuine editorial or business enquiries.
- Legal obligations and legal claims: where records must be kept or disclosed to comply with law or protect legal rights.
Your right to object: You may object to processing based on legitimate interests by emailing the address above. The owner will stop unless there is a compelling lawful reason to continue.
Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics may be enabled to measure use of the site. Analytics should run only after the visitor has chosen to accept analytics cookies where consent is required. Necessary storage used to remember a privacy choice is separate from optional analytics. You can change your choice through the site's cookie controls.
Affiliate links
This site links to PUA Labs through outbound affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link, the destination website may receive referral information and may use cookies or similar technologies according to its own privacy policy.
Service providers and international processing
Information may be handled by hosting, security, analytics, email, and affiliate service providers acting for the site or for their own stated purposes. Some may process information outside the UK. The provider-specific processing locations, retention settings, and transfer mechanisms have not yet been fully recorded in this notice. Where UK data-protection law applies, the owner must confirm an appropriate transfer mechanism before relying on an overseas provider.
Retention
Information is kept only while needed for the purpose described above, to meet legal requirements, or to resolve disputes. Analytics retention follows the configured provider setting; the exact live setting has not yet been published. Email is kept while an enquiry is active and afterwards only where needed for follow-up, records, or legal claims. Hosting and security log periods are controlled by the relevant provider. You may ask for the current retention details by email.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal information. You may also withdraw consent at any time. Email the owner to make a request. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you remain concerned.
The site does not use personal information to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects, and it does not sell personal information.
